Use new oil for the oil consumption measurement. Follow the instructions for the oil consumption measurement in the guided fault finding of the

VAS 5051. The instructions are divided in "Start oil consumption measurement" and "Assess measurement (after the test drive)".

Reuse and complete the protocol of the first part for the assessment. Repairs must only be carried out, if they are necessary as a result of the oil consumption

measurement. For warranty work the protocol of the measurement must be provided, otherwise the costs may

be redebited.
