“I consider myself a social entrepreneur. I see that our generation has huge

potential to make a lasting impact in the world. I started OJOS as an engine

for good to make this impact. From green energy to simple consumer

products, trends and movements, such as OJOS, people and consumers are

given the opportunity to help those in need.

The OJOS: Eyes Toward Progress movement was founded in 2008 and aims at combating

vision problems by utilizing new and used eyewear from the collection of prescription

eyewear donations as well as manufacturing prescription lenses stemmed from the sales

of OJOS Eyewear. By purchasing from OJOS, the customer has the potential and ability

to bring vision and better the life of some someone in need. For every pair of sunglasses

sold, a pair of perscriptions lenses is donated.

THE MARK Since OJOS has such a compelling mission, it only

makes sense to have a mark that matches; one that is

both visually bold and dynamic in both form and color. By

having the mark on an axis, this typographic treatment

allows the brand to have a forward-moving aspect that

hints towards the idea of progress and change.
