How to UseThis Guide
Oklahoma City, is the capital and largest city in the state of Oklahoma. It is the county seat of Oklahoma County, and the city ranks 27th in population amongst all cities in the United States. Oklahoma City has the largest municipal population of any city in the Great Plains region. Oklahoma City's city limits extend into Canadian, Cleveland, and Pottawatomie counties as well, even though much of those areas outside the core Oklahoma County area are suburban or rural. Oklahoma City is on the I-35 Corridor, which is one of the primary travel corridors south into neighboring Texas and Mexico, and north towards Wichita and Kansas City. Located in the state's Frontier Country region, the city's northeast section lies in an ecological region known as the Cross Timbers. The city was founded during the Land Run of 1889, and quickly grew to a population of over 10,000 just hours after its founding. Being in the Great Plains region, Oklahoma City has one of the world's largest livestock markets. The are is know for its oil, natural gas, petroleum products and related industries, which are the largest sector of the local economy. The city is actually in the middle of an active oil field. Tinker Air Force Base and the United States Department of Transportation's Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center are huge employers in the area. Downtown Oklahoma City, which has over 7,000 residents, is seeing an increase of new private investments and large scale public works projects. This has helped to resuscitate a central business district that was left almost deserted by the Oil Bust during early 1980s. The centerpiece of downtown has been recently renovated with a the new Crystal Bridge and Myriad Botanical Gardens. Oklahoma City has tons to offer, with all of the culture, cuisine, attractions and amenities you can image in a modern metropolis. It has a rugged Western past, working stockyards and claims the title as “Horse Show Capital of the World,” it’s rich in cowboy culture as well. There is fun for the entire family and is perfect for any getaway.

Having good health overall is a major key to a long and healthy life. Finding ways to take care of your health can aid in recovery and help you feel better daily. Get routine check-ups and visit your doctor when you're not feeling well. Sometimes, it is hard to tell whether not feeling well is due to a side-effect of medicine, a symptom of a health disorder or any other different health problem. Talk to your doctor or other health care specialist for any other questions or information.
Excellent health care…Close to home.
