He is anxious about her and her little patient, a grandchild, and feels that her concern for the child is indeed partly the cause of her illness. Again speaks of longing to see her.

But one cannot be angry where the generous love of a pure heart wraps one round about, whatever umJOrthiness of such affection we may invmrdly feel. 11 He joins her prayer fo :_fruitful days.

(71) To " Beloved Child in J.C." "Our Lady's feast March 25, 1930" This letter would seem to follow 1!36, as the date shows herein he talks of his inclination to make little drmvings on letters he writes. Also speaks of herbarium he gave her soon after she had visited Overbrook.

(72) To "Beloved Child in J.C." Envelope bears words "May 19th, 1933 Last Letter!" He thought she might be ill, he remembers her at the altar as he celebrates each day. He does "not count on the morrow." But I hope to meet ~vith the old friends in Paradise, if the Lord takes me to Himself. This letter is addressed to ?1rs. P. at "Sunnyrest," Hhite Haven, Penna."
