Cromwell was appointed to the parliament by Charles I.
Cromwell joined the parliament for Huntingdon in 1628.
When he joined the long parliament, he joined as a member of Cambridge.
He was called into the parliament to help England regain money that it wasted in the Bishop wars.
The long parliament is also the reason why king Charles I was dethroned.
Cromwell has had some experience as a soldier in a local county militia.
In 1643, Cromwell had gained many victories, like in East Anglia and the battle of Gainsborough.
Cromwell had recruited low class people as soldiers for his group, which to other people didn’t like the thought of low class soldiers.
