OVERVIEWIt is high time to develop your passion in photography, knowing it is the most popular and influential visual medium the world has ever known. This course will help you master the core photographic skills and build your confidencein taking that shot.

LEARNING OUTCOMESUpon successful completion of the course, students will be able to:• Be familiarised with the basic concepts, terminologies, elements, and principles in Photography.• Create better composed images. Understand lighting and take creative Photographs• Develop a strong Photography portfolio.• Be equipped with the technical knowledge required for a diploma course.

APPROACHStudents should get hands-on experience to get the best out of the course. For this reason, students shall be involved in:

Lectures (Attendance: 30%)This course is delivered in five (5) weeks with two (2) lectures per week. Each lecture spans for three (3) consecutive hours. Lectures shall be dedicated in addressing students’ concerns and clarifications to ensure full understanding of the lessons.

Labs (55%)Following a set of lectures, Lab practices are given in order to ensure that complete understanding of each lesson is delivered and applied by the students. Students are assigned hands-on practical training sessions which involve covering outdoor events and field trips.

Engagement (15%)Student’s participation in lectures, discussions, and group activities is encouraged in this course. This develops the students’ confidence, communication skills, and teamwork.

PRE REQUESITES1. DSLR Camera – For specifications, kindly contact our marketing team for further in- formation.

2. Laptop for editing class.

COURSE MATERIALSThe instructor will provide and share relevant references, study materials, and lecture presentations to the students via email or other online platforms if requested.
