WALK & CYCLE TRACK Midway Point - Sorell A scenic walk or bike ride across the causeway from Midway Point to Sorell and joining the Waterway Trail through to Pioneers Park. Pitt Water & Orielton Lagoon is a wetland of international significance, recognised as both a Tasmanian Nature Reserve & Ramsar site. The townships of Midway Point and Sorell sit on the shore of the wetland.

WIELANGTA FOREST WALK Forestry Tasmania 6233 8203 A scenic drive detour through the forests from Copping to Orford. There is also a 3 hour return walk that passes remnants of Wielangta, a once thriving sawmill town. The track follows the route of an abandoned tramway to the site of an old township known as Wielangta settlement. On the way there is Marion Bay Lookout, which provides a lovely view over the forests and out to the ocean over Marion Bay. There is a perfect spot for a picnic with some sheltered areas.
