Central American Medical Outreach has literally saved thousands of lives in Honduras since its beginning in 1993. Based in Orrville, Ohio, the organization gives medical care, supplies and support to Honduras, one of the poorest countries in the world. This happens through the work of staff from the United States and from Honduras, and volunteers.

Last year CAMO served 115,775 patients in Honduras. Even more impressive than the number is the fact that each person served represents a story of hope and a life forever changed for the better by CAMO.

CAMO provides its services with equipment and supplies that would be discarded in the United States. 60% of Hondurans have little access to medical care. The organization survives by faith and by focusing on the needs of the truly poor.
