GENERAL NOTES Situation Hall Farm has excellent road network access via the A50 and M1. From the confluence of the A38 and A50 at Toyota pick up the B5008 signposted Willington. Travel past the services on the roundabout and continue on the B5008 over the railway and canal into Willington. Turn immediately left onto the A5132 signed for Swarkestone (BEWARE-Low Bridge-11ft.9) travel past the old power station on the left and after ¾ mile pass the sign for Twyford Village. Hall Farm lies first drive on the right after the lane to Twyford with access off the main A5132 Swarkestone Road. From Swarkestone and the A514 pick up the A5132 towards Twyford and Willington and follow this road through Barrow on Trent for approximately 1 mile. The drive to Hall Farm lies on the left just before the Twyford Junction with access directly off the main A5132.

‘To the Sale’ and ‘Car Park’ signs will be erected on the morning of the sale.

Value Added Tax - The majority of the goods for sale comprise the private collection of the Late Mr Brian Juden. All these items will be sold free of VAT on sale day. The modern Classic Tractors together with Baler and substantial farm equipment are still the property of the trading business of B M & A J Juden and therefore will be sold subject to VAT (no. 126 9908 39). This will be charged at the standard rate will be charged in addition to the auction price where applicable. Refreshments - A caterer will be in attendance on the day.

Under new regulations introduced by the Banks, such references are now only obtainable by the Bank’s customers themselves and have to be obtained by them direct from their Bank and forwarded to us. Unless an acceptable Banker’s Reference is produced Payment is Strictly Cash. Persons unknown to the Auctioneers and who pay by cheque will have their goods impounded until cheques have cleared. The Auctioneers reserve the right to refuse a bid off any potential unknown customer.

Viewing and Inspection – Friday 13th July between 10am-3pm and on the morning of the sale strictly from 8.30am onwards.

Conditions of Sale – Bagshaws usual farm sale conditions of sale shall apply at this sale, copies of which are available from the Town offices or the on site sale office.

Cash – Under the money laundering regulations the auctioneers are unable to accept cash in sums greater than €10,000 (or its Sterling equivalent). Please contact the auctioneers to discuss methods of cash payment prior to the sale.

Export Purchasers – All goods must be paid for in pounds sterling (£).

VAT on Export Goods – Under regulations imposed by HM Customs & Excise, the auctioneers must account in a proper manner for VAT on export goods. Therefore, any customers who have no trading pattern record with the auctioneers must pay all VAT on the purchase price of goods on sale day. On receipt of all relevant export documentation and bills of laden (which must be received in the prescribed time limits), the auctioneers will then refund relevant VAT sums.

Buyers Premium – No buyers premium will be payable at this sale.

Telehandler Loading Facilities – Telehandler loading facilities will be available on site up until approximately 5.00pm on sale day.

Machine Hours – Machine hours have been taken as at Wednesday 23rd May 2018. These are given for information purposes only and are not guaranteed by the Auctioneers. Loading It is the responsibility of the purchaser to arrange for the safe loading & transport of all and any purchases. Bagshaws are under no obligation to provide assistance in loading but on occasion they will do their best to help provided that it is not putting themselves, the purchaser or other people at risk of injury. For large, heavy and unwieldy items, specialist loading and transportation will be required for example bulk bins and tanks. The decision made by Bagshaws will be final. FOREWORD

This large and genuine dispersal sale at Hall Farm arises as a result of the passing of the Late Mr Brian Juden in early 2018. Brian had a passion for heavy horses together with horse drawn equipment and vintage collectables and the sale includes many extremely collectable items of a vintage nature both for the small enthusiast and those with larger storage capabilities. Some of the stars of the show include 4 Classic McCormick and International Tractors all of which have been on the farm for several decades. Perusal of the early pages of the catalogue will reveal that many of the items on sale day will be sold free of VAT and loading is available by telehandler on sale day for those travelling from afar. There will be over 300 lots of small rural collectables, engines, stone troughs, booklets, tool boxes and general effects which will be sold during the early part of the auction sale. Purchasers should attend and bid with confidence at this very genuine dispersal.
