Each of your pages should ideally have a unique title tag, which helps Google know how the page is distinct from the others on your site.

Use brief, but descriptive titles , Titles can be both short and informative. If the title is too long, Google will show only a portion of it in the search result.

RULES FOR <TITLE> TAG The recommended length of title is somewhere between 65 to 70 characters including spaces, because more than this likely to be truncated in the search results. So try to keep the title length to 65 characters including spaces for best possible rendering. You can go up to 69 characters in total, but try not to exceed this.Example:<title> keyword text </title>

INTERNAL LINKS USING  <A  HREF="  "> TAG Internal Links are hyperlinks that point at

(target) the same domain as the domain that the link exists on (source). an internal link is one that points to another page on the same website.

EXTERNAL LINKS

External Links are hyperlinks that point at (target) any domain other than the domain the link exists on (source).

In layman's terms, if another website links to you, this is considered an external link to your site. Similarly, if you link out to another website, this is also considered an external link.

WHAT IS ANCHOR TEXT?

Anchor text is the visible, clickable text in a hyperlink that is displayed on a webpage.

For example, in the sentence “Welcome to our site, click here to learn more about digital marketing”, “click here” is the anchor text.

The HTML syntax for anchor text is: <a href=http://www.example.com title=“keyword

text”>Example Anchor Text</a> How Search Engines Use Anchor Text in SEO Search engines use the and topical nature of the page that it’s

linking to. For example, if a particular webpage has lots of backlinks with

the anchor “dog training”, “dog training tips” descriptive text in the anchor of a link in order to help determine the relevancy , “how to train your dog”, then search engines will be able to recognize and understand the context of the target page.

content :Write a description that would both inform and interest users if they saw your description meta tag as a snippet in a search result. (2)Use unique descriptions for each page: keep relevant descriptions and different description for each page of your website

RULES FOR<META > TAG The suggested length of meta

description is somewhere between 155 to 160 characters including spaces. You can even use fewer characters and it works great if your descriptions looks appealing and read better but don't try to create lengthy descriptions or description with more than 160 characters.

META KEYWORDS It's very important that you add the keywords

you want your site to be found under in your KEYWORD tag. If a search engine spider finds the same words on your website and in your meta tags, these words will be ranked higher in the search index.

Try to give each page of your website a relevant title, description and keywords that correspond with the text on your website

NOTE ABOUT KEYWORDS Don't add too many words, the most search engines will only

index the first 20 words. Make sure that you put the 10 most important keywords first.

Where should you add this keyword tag?: You may add the keyword tag in all of your webpages, so not only in the first index page. Make sure that on every page relevant keyword tags are added.  Add keywords that are relevant and correspond with the text on that specific page. It might be a lot of work to add specific meta tags to each page but you will notice in time that it works!EXAMPLE:<meta name="keywords" content="HTML, Meta Tags, Metadata" />

KEYWORDS DENSITY Keyword density deals with the ratio of your

keywords in light of the total number of index able words placed in your webpage. For example, you have 100 words article, then having a 1% keyword ratio means that you should have the presence of your keyword one time within that 100 word text.
