The following survey was fielded as a partnership between MedData Group and Capko & Morgan, and the survey data is reflective of 455 U.S. physicians. This survey was fielded in both 2015 and 2016. When physicians were asked their top reasons for adopting mobile health, it’s no surprise that time efficiencies topped the list. Pharmaceutical information moved to the #1 position this year from the #2 position in 2015. Interestingly, our data shows that the age of a physician does not play any significant role in a physician’s use or perceptions of mobile. Medication interactions jumped from #3 in 2015 to #1 in 2016, increasing by 14%. Similarly, ePrescribing fell from #1 in 2015 (50% to 40%) to #4 position in 2016.
