As K-LOVE partners with 3Strands Global, their vision isa world free from human trafficking. 3Strands provides jobs, raises funds, builds awareness and provides education and resources to fight human trafficking by partnering with more than 15 anti-trafficking organizations around the world. Wedo this because human trafficking is not okay, and we believe every single person can make a difference.

3Strands’ focus is to partner with organizations “on the ground” to provide employment and resources to both rescued andat-risk youth in communities impacted by human trafficking. 3Strands has partnered with the AIM Employment Center in

Cambodia where they work to educate, train and employ the rescued victims, who produce handcrafted bracelets and products to be sold here in the United States. “Sustainable job opportunities play a big role in breaking the cycle of human trafficking in the U.S. and abroad,” said Don Brewster, founder and executive director of AIM. “By employing the victims, the cycle of human trafficking can be broken, and these young women can be restored.” In Cambodia, the girls receive food, education, housing and restorative counseling to empower them and lift their reputation in the community.They are also shown that they are loved unconditionally.

myKLOVE provides us with the incredibleopportunity of sharing our hearts and journeys through the music God places in our lives, and we couldn’t be more grateful for that!

Throughout the month of October we were honored to present our Single Moms Events with our sole purpose to be the hands and feet of Jesus to precious women who hold the hardest job on earth. From the attendees and businesses that donated their resources, to the volunteers who gave their time and energy – the participation at every location was involved and heartfelt.

Throughout the country our events team spread God’s love to thousands of women and their children, presenting opportunities for them to receive pampering services such as free haircuts, massages, manicures, family portraits, and makeovers, which were given by numerous business owners within each area. We also provided practical services such as groceries, clothes, oil changes, and flu shots. We made sure that every mother walked away with her arms filled and heart full. Several locations provided a coffeehouse setting, inviting the women to build friendships as well as provide a place to rest, receive prayer, and at some locations an engraved Bible. While most women enjoyed a day of refreshment and meaningful conversations, there were also several women who were exhausted and at the end of their rope. These overworked and overtired women were able to open up to each other and unload their burdens as they were pampered and rejuvenated. This was a much needed and appreciated event for these single mothers. They knew they could relax while we took care of their children at our Kid Zones with games, movies, and face painting. Many women thanked us for hosting an event that ministered specifically to them and they shared how it made them feel loved and special. Comments such as “I feel blessed,” and “it was a wonderful blessing,” as well as other gracious comments were heard throughout the country where these events took place.

Big Daddy Weave’s newest song “Overwhelmed” reflects a humble attitude of a group that has been sharing music with us for over a decade. “As children of God we were made for a lot more than just knowing things about God,” shares Mike Weaver, lead singer. “The Word says we are temples of His Holy Spirit. We are designed to be carriers of His presence. So when we are born again, we are made ready for a whole lifetime of encounters with the King of the Universe.”

This song reminds us of just how good God is, which should cause each one of us to run into His arms unashamed because of His mercy. Big Daddy Weave’s prayer is that you will be overwhelmed as they are by just how awesome God is!

“Hello, I just want to first say that K-LOVE is my “Happy Place.” I struggle with anger and doubt everyday, and ever since I started to listen to K-LOVE I’ve slowly learned to pray before reacting. I lost my brother the day after my 22nd birthday and I was so angry with God. It’s been almost eleven years and that anger I used to feel has diminished - all because of K-LOVE and God. I have no idea what I would do without you guys. I’ve also started going back to church and I’ve even got my boyfriend going to church as well. I just wanted to mention approximately 13 people were led to Christ at my Brother’s (T.J.) funeral. Praise God!!!”

In 2010, Eric Moser joined us as CFO to head up our talented Finance Team. This group performs specific tasks to ensure that all donations are used in the wisest way. The department is broken up into five categories, which include Tax, Financial Analysis, Accounting & Payroll, Accounts Payables, and Donor Processing.

By being good stewards of what God has entrusted to us, we ensure that all donations are used and distributed to pay down on balances from the purchase of past stations as well as funding for day to day activities and expenses. A specific account has also been established to set aside a contingency for future expenses. All new stations now purchased are paid for in cash, incurring no debt for the future.

“I have always tried to break the stereotype of accountants,” said Moser. “Twice a year we take time out to serve at the Placer Food Bank, and also participate in Bible studies within our department. This place is a mix of ministry as well as having good business practices.”
