Stop/start technology and exhaust heat recycling help reduce fuel consumption and emissions. The wider range of inlet timing variation in the VVT-i system means that the new NX engine can switch instantly from the Otto Cycle to the high-expansion ratio, high-efficiency Atkinson Cycle, according to vehicle operating conditions.

The Lexus Hybrid Drive system on the NX 300h SE works in concert with the Electronically Controlled CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) to environmentally upgrade your drive with high fuel efficiency (6.0 litres/100km), clean emissions, and surprising quietness. While eco-conscious, the vehicle does not compromise on performance, offering extraordinary power. (114 kW @ 5700 rpm) and torque (210 Nm @ 4200 – 4400 rpm). The 2.5-litre 4-cylinder engine operates on the Atkinson Cycle and has highly-efficient intake and exhaust systems to deliver optimal output performance.

With their 2.0-litre 4-cylinder direct injection turbocharged engine, the NX 300 EX and NX 300 F SPORT maximise power (175 kW @ 4800 – 5600 rpm) and torque (350 Nm @ 1650 – 4000 rpm) for an exhilarating driving experience. Operating on the Atkinson Cycle, both models achieve excellent fuel efficiency (7.9 litres/100km) and driving performance simultaneously, while exhaust gas interference has been eliminated to improve response over a wider torque band.

The NX 300 range has a sequential-shift 6-speed automatic transmission paired with a sophisticated electronically controlled proactive all-wheel drive system. Sequential shifting can be initiated via the gear lever or paddle shifter on the steering wheel.

The imposing, aggressively-sculpted NX body is designed to stand out from the crowd, but always with style in mind. Strong lines and prominent flares unite the diamond-shaped body, starting at the spindle grille, while the presence of the tyres has been emphasised to show off its powerful stance. The bottom edge of the door panels kick up to pass through the peak of the rear combination lamps, creating unique proportions with a three-dimensional and dynamic feel.

The vehicle is available with a hands-free power back door that can be opened and closed by moving one’s foot in front of a kick sensor located underneath the rear bumper while carrying the smart key.

SEATS DESERVING OF A STANDING OVATION The NX’s exclusive F SPORT leather seats bolster full support during high-performance driving, with four-way adjustable headrests and integrated foaming construction, all complemented by aluminium finishes. The smooth leather seats feature perforated patterns that offer increased support and enhanced style.

F SPORT BADGEAlthough discreet, the F SPORT logo is a badge of distinction. The “F” refers to the birthplace and primary testing site of our high-performance F SPORT vehicles: Fuji Speedway, located near Mount Fuji.

BOOST METER The boost meter measures turbocharger pressure levels. A white band has been adopted for the graphic scale to match the meter face. The band colour changes in the high-pressure range. An oil temperature gauge and an oil pressure gauge are displayed at the bottom of the boost meter.

B L I N D S P O T M O N I T O R *Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross Traffic Alert detects vehicles in adjacent lanes that are not visible on the door mirrors. If the driver is indicating to change lanes and a vehicle enters the blind spot, a warning signal appears on the relevant door mirror.

P A N O R A M I C V I E W M O N I T O R *The Panoramic View Monitor helps you reverse into parking spaces. On the central display it shows a video image of the space into which you are reversing and overlays guidelines to facilitate you steering the car. It provides a near-360° view around the entire car and also creates a virtual 3D picture of your NX, with on-screen guides to assist close-quarter manoeuvring in the city.

ADAPTIVE ALL SPEED* CRUISE CONTROLThe system uses the millimetre wave radar sensor and camera to detect the vehicle in front and provide control to maintain an appropriate distance. If the vehicle in front comes to a halt, the system will stop the NX. When the vehicle moves off again, the NX will start off and continue following.

L A N E T R A C E A S S I S T *Lane Trace Assist with Lane Keep Assist helps the driver to keep the NX in the centre of the lane. If the system determines that there is a possibility of the NX departing from the lane, it will switch to departure prevention control, providing support for returning the car to the centre of the lane.

T R A C T I O N C O N T R O L ( T R C ) Traction Control increases the NX’s grip, especially when starting off or accelerating on an uneven or slippery surface. Corrective measures are applied the moment the risk of wheel-spin is detected, thereby maintaining traction.

The Lexus NX 300h SE is fuel efficient and produces zero emissions when in Electric Vehicle mode. The advanced petrol-electric hybrid system uses the revolutionary Self-Charging Hybrid system, an industry innovation which means you conveniently never have to charge the NX. The combined power from the 2.5-litre petrol engine and the nickel hydrogen battery system is 114kW at 5700rpm, and combined torque is 210Nm at 4200-4400rpm. An Electronically Controlled Variable Transmission (CVT) maximises both efficiency and performance.

The NX 300h SE has a Hybrid Battery Warranty of 8 years/195 000km.
