Radiation TherapyOur radiation therapy, offered by 21st Century Oncology, is located on the first floor of our building.

21st Century Oncology offers state-of-the-art radiation therapy and integrated cancer treatment services.

Available treatments include:

• Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT): Carefully calculated beams of radiation are delivered at multiple angles by a revolutionary computer system.

• Image-Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT): A sophisticated treatment that uses a target image to guide the delivery of radiation for each treatment.

Our board-certified medical oncologists are Clinical Associate Professors at UMass Medical School in Worcester. They bring a wealth of experience, expertise, and compassion to cancer and hematology patient care services.

Professionals within our Cancer Center include dedicated oncology nurses, technicians, social workers, pharmacists, and volunteers.

Hematology Services

Our physicians diagnose and treat all types of adult blood disorders, including:

• Anemia• Bleeding and blood clotting abnormalities• Polycythemia• Sickle cell disease

Through a comprehensive care plan, patients are supported by our hematology laboratory, transfusion services, and certified nurses, helping us to provide integrated, exceptional therapy.

Clinical Trials

Our physicians participate in a variety of clinical trials–research studies that test new medical approaches for safe and effective results. These trials explore research methods for cancer and/or reveal improvements in cancer prevention methodologies and early detection.
