As you've seen elsewhere, our orientationschedule is set for the following dates: Thursday,August 10 (HS); Tuesday, August 15 (K/1st);Wednesday, August 16 (2nd-4th); and Thursday,August 17 (5th-8th). Gator Club members have

the option of attending at an "early bird" time of 6-6:30pm, with openorientation from 6:30-7:30pm (we will contact Gator Club members by emailafter the close of the giving year July 31 - if you think you qualify but don't hearfrom me, please feel free to contact me directly). If you choose not to "phone itin" next week, you can give toward the Gator Annual Fund by check or creditcard at orientation. By the way...we all know how that line goes, but we plan tohave some cold drinks and a little fun to make it a bit more bearable!

What does my giving do?We're often asked, what does my gift actually DOat Gateway? You might have seen the graphic atleft on social media. We want to communicate insimplified terms what charitable giving providesto Gateway. The answer is - charitable giving IS

Gateway. People come to Gateway for a specific school experience, which isprimarily a result of charitable giving. It's why we continue to ask our familiesto give, and why I try to say THANK YOU as often as possible to ALL of you whogive.

WE need to know!Has your last Gator graduated? Are you making a move? While we welcomeyour ongoing support even after your Gateway experience ends, if you have newinformation for us about your giving, please feel free to email me or call me(512.731.6308) and let me know so that we can update your records.

Enjoy these last few weeks of summer, and be sure to read a good book!

Best,
