Thank you for joining us for the Bucks County Community College Foundation’s 16th Annual Golf Classic! Over the years, this event has raised more than $467,000 for the College’s scholarshipfund as well as a variety of campus projects and programs, such as:
• Life Science Center Awareness Week for High School Students• Read and Write Gold: Technology for All Learners• Mechatronics Siemens Kits• Student Response Systems for Extension Site Libraries• Digital Video Devices for Science Labs• Classroom Renovations & Technology Enhancements• Library & Performing Arts Endowments• Early Learning Center playground improvement

Bucks County Community CollegeBucks County Community College is committed to the concept that everyonein our community should have the opportunity to develop his or her greatestpotential. To that end, the College provides a high quality, affordable first twoyears of higher education. Our open door policy encourages all who wish to obtain an education to do so.
The College is reflective of the society it serves. What was once a small college of 730 students in the fall of 1965, is today an institution of morethan 11,000 credit and 20,000 non-credit students. In its history, nearly500,000 students have attended the College to take courses for transfer,occupational skills, advancement and enrichment. The programs, courses,services, and activities it provides, touch the lives of many residents and createan environment which encourages life-long intellectual development forcounty residents.
Those who attended the College over the past 45 years – legislators,commissioners, teachers, doctors, lawyers, and business owners – continue to contribute to the success of Bucks County. The alumni exemplify theopportunity and excellence that is Bucks County Community College.

Bucks County Community College FoundationIn 1982, the Foundation was established as a non-profit, 501(c)(3), educationaltrust to provide expanded resources for the College’s growth and development.Foundation funds support instructional resources, campus facilities, scholarshipsand awards, cultural activities, and special College projects.
In its quest to advance Bucks County Community College as a community of excellence, the Foundation proactively approaches the private sector of the Bucks County community to secure financial support and other assistance.This community support enhances the College’s ongoing activities and programsas well as initiates new services and programs not adequately funded throughtraditional sources. In addition to soliciting and receiving funds and other gifts on behalf of the College, the Foundation raises community awareness through its special events, such as the annual Tyler Tasting Party, Golf Classic and Women’s Scholarship Tea.
