It was Chinese New Year while we were there. This band of Chinese were going

around to wish businesses good luck.

Men dressed as a dragon would dance and enter a store as drummers pounded out an

interesting rhythm.

Red and black are traditional colors and the dancing dragon is the way luck is wished on a store owner.

With plastic to protect the drum from rain, a Chinese man bangs

away loudly.

To get out of the rain, we stopped at an

interesting bar not far from Chinatown.

entertainers to use.
