the Oneida Tribe of Indians of Wisconsin is a federally recognized Indian Government and aTreaty Tribe recognized by the laws of the United States, and

the Oneida General Tribal Council is the duly recognized governing body of the Oneida Tribe ofIndians of Wisconsin, and

the Oneida Business Committee has be delegated the authority of Article IV, Section I of theOneida Tribal Constitution by the Oneida General Tribal Council, and

the Oneida Tribe has acquired in fee status the following parcel described as: FormerDelores Smits propel1y located at 249 Valley Road, 2793 S. Overland Road,2700 Block S. Overland Road, 200-300 Blocks Florist Drive, 400 Block Airport Dr. and

the above described parcel is requested in Trust Status to expand Oneida Tribal land base andprovide existing agricultural, residential, Tribal Offices/Programs, and

the Oneida Business Committee cel1ifies that the local property taxes will be paid up to trustplacement, and

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Oneida Business Committee hereby requests that the UnitedStates Bureau of Indian Affairs to initiate and carry out the process required to place the above parcels in trust for theOneida Tribe of Indians of Wisconsin.
