ECO ice rink In a time when future generations are being taken into account, sustainable development is a policy focus in many organizations.

Ice-World International is with some 600 temporary ice rinks a year worldwide the largest company hiring out mobile ice rinks. Skating is of all times and is getting ever more popular all over the world. In many countries the Ice-World ice rinks are being set up as a special attraction during Christmas and holiday seasons, but also act as a platform for fun, events, shows, skating contests etc.

Ice-World patented aluminum rinks, which are available in a variety of sizes to suit the location, are supplied ready-to-go, complete with boarding and cooling system. Our mobile ice rinks are easy to set up for instance in city centers or shopping malls, in holiday parks and amusement parks, in airports and in station buildings. Build today, skate tomorrow!

ice hockey rink One of Ice-World’s more unusual products is the ice hockey rink. Due to its mobility, this rink involves a smaller capital outlay and brings about lower operating a n d e n e r g y c o s t s t h a n a permanent rink, yet it is suitable for permanent or temporary use.

The Ice-World mobile hockey rink measures 60 x 30. It can be assembled and disassembled within 24 hours and installed either indoors or outdoors (in an existing building, in the open air, sports hall, etc.). The extremely solid boarding, which is anchored in the ice, satisfies the requirements of the I n t e r n a t i o n a l I c e H o c k e y Federation (IIHF). The referee, players and penalty b o x e s a n d i n t e r n a t i o n a l l y recognised pitch-lines are all part of the standard equipment.

400m oval Ice rink Until recently, a 400-metre “Grand Oval” ice rink was a f i x e d i n s t a l l a t i o n t h a t required an investment running into the millions.

Ice-World takes a different a p p r o a c h a n d h a s developed the mobi le “Grand Oval”, which can be set up for a few days o n l y o r p e r m a n e n t l y installed at a fixed location compling with the official sizes according to ISU rules and regulations.

Boarding

Air boardingAlthough for recreational skating boarding is not needed, it adds more safety. For professional and competitions, special air boarding is needed to guarantee the safety of the skaters.

The air boarding is placed in the curves of the track and extending 5meters along the straight piece of the track where it will also cover and protect the connection headers to the chillers.

Optionally, boarding can also be placed on the inside of the track and alongside the straight pieces of the track.

The air boarding is tested and approved by TNO.

fun slide The FunSlide is a slide with real ice or snow which can be installed together with our ice rink. It is perfect because the same cool ing technology needed for the ice rink can be connected to the FunSlide.

Of course, the FunSlide is also available separately.The Ice-World FunSlide uses the same tried and tested technology as the Ice-World ice rinks, except it features an inclined surface with snow or ice. Because the FunSlide is cooled, it can be kept in use for as long as you want.

fun track The Ice-World FunTrack is a couple of metres wide skating path and variable in length.

The track consists of several bends, which breaks off from the rink and meanders around. T h e F u n T r a c k i s u s u a l l y connected with another ice rink but can also be placed on its own. Each project is bespoke and tailored to your individual requi rements . So, severa l o p t i o n s a n d l e n g t h s a re possible.

platinum ice rink Our Platinum ice rink package offers you a turn key solution providing you with a state of the art temporary structure, designer furniture and exquisite lighting to compliment your rink.

Ice-World’s Platinum dome is available in two sizes, medium and maxi.

The maxi is 20 metres in diameter, 10 metres high and has 300 sqm of floor space allowing for a 150 sqm ice rink. The maxi dome has capacity for approximately 100 people and 50 skaters.

The medium dome has a diameter of 14 metres, height of 8 metres and 150 sqm of floor space which is home to a 75 sqm ice rink. The medium dome accommodates up to 50 people and 25 skaters.
