Large Online Marketing company needed an online tool to create a online consumer quote management system within the insurance industry. The system also had a embedded feature to manage the insurance sales and report management tool to better monitor the entire value chain.

Successive Software worked with the client for a period of over 2 years to create the entire system from scratch which had superior features like policy comparison, instant quotes, e-application, e-delivery, health analyzer tool, company and product informa-tion and agency branding.

The Client is a US based online marketplace and marketing organization for insurance policy products and insurance product sales management.

The client has an association with all the leading insurance providers in the United States. The client has over 10,000 satisfied customers.

In today’s world where all businesses are migrating to an online model, insurance industry is no exception. The US insurance market today has 20% life insurance policies sold through the direct marketing channel. The face to face sales in the last couple of years has witnessed a sharp decline. The online insurance sale is now a billion dollar industry and insurance companies are keen to tap this market. The client has mastered this opportunity by providing a technological solution to the consumers by providing real time policy quote and comparing system. This helps the users to take an informed decision with the convenience of choosing the right product through a comparison on the entire product portfolio available in the market.

Background

Successive Software worked on to create a user friendly insurance quote engine. This is a form based tool that extracts information from the users on the basis of their information inputs. It is used to map the customer needs with the insurance policy products available and the suitable products are listed for the users.

The policy quote engine is a fabulous way to generate leads for the agency as the application can be embedded by the stakeholders in their websites. It is a wonderful means to drive highly oriented traffic to the business. The quotes are generated from dozens of insurance companies within 60 seconds. We have also developed an integrated tool for insurance policy analysis. The engine provides detailed reports on the insurance companies and their products high-lighting key features of the same.

The various product options are shown in a spreadsheet view with an EZ Health Class analyzer to calculate premiums. The apply feature ensures online and telephone buy to the users. Dashboard and reporting feature helps companies to track their sales life cycle.
