Online Live Tutoring Asisstance

The Sacramento Public Library has partnered with American River College (ARC) and the Learning Resource Center and its Tutorial Center to give you free access to resources that can assist you in your academic success.

Online live tutoring is available Sunday--Saturday 1pm-11pm for homework help in the following college level subjects: Algebra, Biology, Calculus 1, Chemistry, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Statistics, and Trigonometry. Online live tutoring is also available for basic, intermediate, and advanced help in Math, Reading, and Writing for adult learners. If you are already a Sacramento Public Library member, skip through the virtual membership steps and login using your account, otherwise go through the steps to get your free virtual library eCard for the Sacramento Public Library and get quick access to all of their online resources today!

Start at the Sac Libray homepage: www.saclibrary.org (for best results use the

Internet Explorer or Firefox browsers)

For the virtual membership go to “Get a Library Card” in the “HOW DO I” section

Click on “Apply for a Library Card” then on “Apply for a Virtual Library eCard”

Complete ALL the fields and click the submit button

You will be given a temporary account bar code and asked to create a passcode

Once you are signed on, you will arrive at the home “Catalog” page

Click on the “Services” at the top menu bar to get the Service page

Click on the “Homework Help Now” option on the left side

You will be inside the Brainfuse page

For homework help in in the following college level subjects: Algebra, Biology, Calculus 1, Chemistry,

Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Statistics, or Trigonometry

Click on “Live Tutoring”, on the left side below “Expert Help”

Select the “College” level and enter the Subject of your choice, including Algebra,

Biology, Calculus 1, Chemistry, Geometry, Pr-Calculus, Statistics, and Trigonometry
