Network Update

● March 2020 COVID surveys

○ 50% of respondents said they either had or were planning to transition to online delivery

○ 75% said that learners lack devices or data to continue learning digital skills at home

● July 2020 COVID Impact survey

○ 73% of respondents stated that they were able to deliver some form of digital skills support.

● Moving forwards

○ 28% of the Network anticipate a return to face-to-face delivery

○ 23% reported a planned return to face-to-face followed by online support.

Grant Program

● Paid out over $15 million of grants

● Change to Building Digital Skills grant

● Available for all Network Partners

● Range of contract sizes from $2,500 to $15,000 depending on learners supported and location

● Grant rounds open every month

○ Looking to develop a grant for organisations that are not able to recruit new learners

○ The need for devices and data has not gone away

Get Online Week is an international digital inclusion campaign hosted by Good Things Foundation.

Get involved by hosting an online or COVID-Safe event between 19-25 October.
