Don’t assume local laws will protect you in the cyber world, because it won’t. Knowing all the rules and privacy policies is impossible! At the end of the day, if you respect yourself and others, you won’t have to expect problems.

Only 17% even notice the privacy policies?
A vast majority of users feel that legislation should be enacted to protect personal privacy, with 39% and 33% that there should be new laws to protect privacy on the Internet.
A recent Business Week/Harris poll also revealed that 2/3 of users who are currently not "online" would be more likely to start using the internet if the privacy of their "personal information and communications would be protected."
Did you know:
AVOIDING THE PROBLEMS.How to avoid problems like law cases, your ex tracking you from your phone connection or third parties selling your info.
RESPECT AND EXPECT.
Respect yourself, this means don’t post sexual photos of yourself, anywhere! Don’t ever post unconfident comments or posts either, it might get you attention, but definitely the wrong type.Respect others, if you don’t respect others, they have a right to disrespect you. Keep it clean and stay safe.Expect respect, if you disrespect them and they start to disrespect you, it can definitely work vice versa. Remember though, there’s a difference between disrespect and online slander. When a problem comes where someone mouthing you off in the cyber world, just block them.
