The Story of Brentrsquos Since 1969 Brents Deli has grown from a small family business to the premier place for perfect pastrami decadent dessert and life-cycle celebrations We strive to consistently provide the highest quality food available greatvalue and uncompromised service - the foundations of which were built by founder Ron Peskin

Ron Peskin circa 1959

Born in Cleveland Ohio in 1941 Ron moved to California at the age of fve He virtually grew up behind the deli counter working tirelessly at his uncles delis and other local markets in the San Fernando Valley Ron was eventually offered a management position with the quaint but failing Brents Deli in Northridge which was opened by a previous owner in 1967 After declining the position the owner proposed he buy the deli with its 11 employees and single delivery truck So in 1969 with just $1800 down and plenty of advice against it Ron and his wife Patricia forged into a new business They had a young child named Brent so the deli gladly kept its name

Our team now includes Rons son Brentdaughter-in-law Dori daughter Carie son-in-law Marc and granddaughter Taylor With our hands-on approach Brents Deli has become the 1 Delicatessen and Restaurant in the nation or as one of our customers once said The best deli west of anywhere

The Story of Brentrsquos Since 1969 Brents Deli has grown from a small family business to the premier place for perfect pastrami decadent dessert and life-cycle celebrations We strive to consistently provide the highest quality food available greatvalue and uncompromised service - the foundations of which were built by founder Ron Peskin

Ron Peskin circa 1959

Born in Cleveland Ohio in 1941 Ron moved to California at the age of fve He virtually grew up behind the deli counter working tirelessly at his uncles delis and other local markets in the San Fernando Valley Ron was eventually offered a management position with the quaint but failing Brents Deli in Northridge which was opened by a previous owner in 1967 After declining the position the owner proposed he buy the deli with its 11 employees and single delivery truck So in 1969 with just $1800 down and plenty of advice against it Ron and his wife Patricia forged into a new business They had a young child named Brent so the deli gladly kept its name

Our team now includes Rons son Brentdaughter-in-law Dori daughter Carie son-in-law Marc and granddaughter Taylor With our hands-on approach Brents Deli has become the 1 Delicatessen and Restaurant in the nation or as one of our customers once said The best deli west of anywhere

The Story of Brentrsquos Since 1969 Brents Deli has grown from a small family business to the premier place for perfect pastrami decadent dessert and life-cycle celebrations We strive to consistently provide the highest quality food available greatvalue and uncompromised service - the foundations of which were built by founder Ron Peskin

Ron Peskin circa 1959

Born in Cleveland Ohio in 1941 Ron moved to California at the age of fve He virtually grew up behind the deli counter working tirelessly at his uncles delis and other local markets in the San Fernando Valley Ron was eventually offered a management position with the quaint but failing Brents Deli in Northridge which was opened by a previous owner in 1967 After declining the position the owner proposed he buy the deli with its 11 employees and single delivery truck So in 1969 with just $1800 down and plenty of advice against it Ron and his wife Patricia forged into a new business They had a young child named Brent so the deli gladly kept its name

Our team now includes Rons son Brentdaughter-in-law Dori daughter Carie son-in-law Marc and granddaughter Taylor With our hands-on approach Brents Deli has become the 1 Delicatessen and Restaurant in the nation or as one of our customers once said The best deli west of anywhere

The Story of Brentrsquos Since 1969 Brents Deli has grown from a small family business to the premier place for perfect pastrami decadent dessert and life-cycle celebrations We strive to consistently provide the highest quality food available greatvalue and uncompromised service - the foundations of which were built by founder Ron Peskin

Ron Peskin circa 1959

Born in Cleveland Ohio in 1941 Ron moved to California at the age of fve He virtually grew up behind the deli counter working tirelessly at his uncles delis and other local markets in the San Fernando Valley Ron was eventually offered a management position with the quaint but failing Brents Deli in Northridge which was opened by a previous owner in 1967 After declining the position the owner proposed he buy the deli with its 11 employees and single delivery truck So in 1969 with just $1800 down and plenty of advice against it Ron and his wife Patricia forged into a new business They had a young child named Brent so the deli gladly kept its name

Our team now includes Rons son Brentdaughter-in-law Dori daughter Carie son-in-law Marc and granddaughter Taylor With our hands-on approach Brents Deli has become the 1 Delicatessen and Restaurant in the nation or as one of our customers once said The best deli west of anywhere

The Story of Brentrsquos Since 1969 Brents Deli has grown from a small family business to the premier place for perfect pastrami decadent dessert and life-cycle celebrations We strive to consistently provide the highest quality food available greatvalue and uncompromised service - the foundations of which were built by founder Ron Peskin

Ron Peskin circa 1959

Born in Cleveland Ohio in 1941 Ron moved to California at the age of fve He virtually grew up behind the deli counter working tirelessly at his uncles delis and other local markets in the San Fernando Valley Ron was eventually offered a management position with the quaint but failing Brents Deli in Northridge which was opened by a previous owner in 1967 After declining the position the owner proposed he buy the deli with its 11 employees and single delivery truck So in 1969 with just $1800 down and plenty of advice against it Ron and his wife Patricia forged into a new business They had a young child named Brent so the deli gladly kept its name

The Story of Brentrsquos Since 1969 Brents Deli has grown from a small family business to the premier place for perfect pastrami decadent dessert and life-cycle celebrations We strive to consistently provide the highest quality food available greatvalue and uncompromised service - the foundations of which were built by founder Ron Peskin

Ron Peskin circa 1959

Born in Cleveland Ohio in 1941 Ron moved to California at the age of fve He virtually grew up behind the deli counter working tirelessly at his uncles delis and other local markets in the San Fernando Valley Ron was eventually offered a management position with the quaint but failing Brents Deli in Northridge which was opened by a previous owner in 1967 After declining the position the owner proposed he buy the deli with its 11 employees and single delivery truck So in 1969 with just $1800 down and plenty of advice against it Ron and his wife Patricia forged into a new business They had a young child named Brent so the deli gladly kept its name

Our team now includes Rons son Brentdaughter-in-law Dori daughter Carie son-in-law Marc and granddaughter Taylor With our hands-on approach Brents Deli has become the 1 Delicatessen and Restaurant in the nation or as one of our customers once said The best deli west of anywhere

In addition to the restaurant deli and bakery we also offer full-service catering and delivery anywhere in Southern California Literally From San Diego to Santa Barbara and everywhere in betweenWe make almost all of our menu items from scratch fresh daily in-houseFrom top-of-the-line meat trays sandwich platters and hot continental buffets to salads fresh fruit and desserts we can feed 20 or 200 people with just a few hours notice Whether its for a party event offce luncheon family gathering or holiday celebrationwe didnt invent cateringWe just made it better
