Welcome to SAmI InternAtIonAl, the onlIne plAtform for your cuStom-mAde trAInIng.

1. Register

Take these four steps to register for SAMI International

1.) Submit dataTo register you are required to submit the following data: name, place of birth, a valid e-mail and a personal password. We kindly ask you to also provide your street address to make contacting you easier for us. Of course, all your data are treated confidentially and with the greatest of care. (cf. Terms and conditions, https://sami-international.com/about/terms)

2.) Choose your styleAs a next step, choose your preferred style. Standard Membership allows you to watch all the videos of your style of choice. Choose the Premium Membership option to watch all the videos on the platform. When you opt for the Premium Membership, you are also required to choose a style, just pick a favorite!

3.) Choose your packageThere are three options for the use of SAMI International:

a) Standard Membership - you choose to register for one category For an annual fee of 35 Euros – which is also the annual SAMI Membership fee – you can watch all the videos of one style.

b) Premium Membership – you wish to use a number of categories An annual fee of 70 Euros – which also contains the annual SAMI Membership fee – gives you access to all the videos of all styles.

c) Instructors Membership – you are a qualified SAMI Instructor and wish for unlimited access to the site and to the Instructors only page.

For an annual fee of 70 Euros you will have access to the Instructors‘ pages, provided you are a Sami Instructor in one of our styles. The system administrator will have to grant you access. Please send an e-mail with your request and any qualifying documents to [email protected]!

UpgradeYou have chosen a category and may wish to upgrade later?

Standard – Premium: Please send an e-mail and let us know. It is not possible to upgrade during the year of membership. However, if you wish to renew your membership after a year, and wish to upgrade then, simply choose the package when renewing your membership.

Premium – Instructor: Please send an e-mail and let us know. Include any necessary qualifying documents.


DowngradeEin Downgrade ist unter dem Jahr nicht möglich. Sie können das entsprechende Paket bei der Verlängerung Ihrer Mitgliedschaft wählen.

4.) Payment

Bezahlen könenn Sie praktsich und sofort mit PayPal, Kreditkarte oder Sofort-Überweisung. Ihr Zugang wird umgehend freigeschalten. Sie können sofort mit dem Training beginnen.

Log-inAfter you have successfully registered and being granted access, you can use your e-mail address and your password to log in. You can edit your data, password and e-mail address as well as the level you wish to choose for your training.

Edit dataUse the menu option settings/billing to edit your personal data, such as name, address…

Note: click „safe data“ to update your personal data, otherwise the changes you made will be lost.

Upload pictureClick „upload file“ below the picture to upload a photo. If you wish to change the picture, simple upload a new photo, the previous one will be replaced.

My trainingUse this menu option for your disciplines. Please, be as specific as possible.Use the drop down menu to choose your martial art and your level. If you haven‘t taken an exam yet, you are in level 1 (choose „leve1“). If you have already taken one exam, you are in level 2.Please enter your training facility. Should you train in more than one facilities, enter them all, use commas between their names.Optionally, you may enter your instructor‘s name.Use „+ more styles“ to enter as many trainings as necessary.Use the little red x to the right of the lines to delete lines you do no longer need.

2. Log-in and use the page:


Change password

Here you can change your password. Just type your old password once, then type your new pass-word twice. Your new password is valid immediately after saving it. You will also receive an e-mail with your new password.

Change your e-mail address

Here you can change your e-mail address. You will see your current e-mail address and will be asked to type your new e-mail address twice, immediately changing it. You will receive a confirmation by e-mail to your old e-mail address, and also an e-mail to your e-mail address. This mail will contain an activation link. Click it to validate your new e-mail address.

Follow the menu option „my charges“ to see for how long your membership is valid and the style you have registered for. You will receive a reminder when your membership expires.

Your membership number will be entered in your training pass. Please bring your training pass for each seminar, each workshop and for each level exam.

Seminars:

Seminars can be filtered according to styles or countries (or both).

3. Videos, instructors and seminars: search, filter, find!


Go to the top area of the style‘s menu to find keywords. Choose the English words, as this is an international page.

You can sort the list alphabetically or see the latest videos first or the oldest videos first.

The first drop down menu will show you how the style is organized. Now you choose certain topics – e.g. „defense against punching“ only OR all drills from the „TCS Control Fighting Program“.

The drop down menu also allows you to choose certain levels, e.g. all techniques from Level 4 only.

Instructors

Go to the „Instructors“ menu to see an alphabetic list of all qualified SAMI Instructors. You can also limit you search according to style or country (top right drop down menu).

Videos:

Pick your style from the menu on the left hand side.

You‘ll see a list of all videos of the style you have just pickedSie haben mehrere Möglichkeiten um SAMI International optimal zu nutzen:

a. You are already training with qualified SAMI Instructors in regular training sessions or in intensive seminars and want to use SAMI International to brush up and repeat what you have learned.

b. If there is no SAMI Instructor close to where you live but you still want to learn about the SAMI Combat Systems as an addition for your personal training, the videos of the SAMI Distance Training are the perfect introduction. If you want to gain more insight into the styles it is still advisable to attend courses, workshops or intensive seminars at the SAMI Academy. The SAMI Distance Training will offer you many advantages, still it cannot replace training sessions with a qualified instructor.

c. You want to become a SAMI Instructor and want to thoroughly prepare for the instructors‘ exams. Again, it is very much advised to attend the intensive seminars for the instructors‘ training at the SAMI Academy. Again, the SAMI Distance Training will give you many ad vantages, still it cannot replace training sessions with a qualified instructor. Video clips only can never make you an instructor, still, they can help to prepare for the intensive courses or to help you remember techniques which you have learned in a course. Exams must be taken with a qualified instructor, as there are NO online exams. For additional information go to the „instructors training“ pages on the websites of the respective SAMI Combat System:

4. 4. How to use SAMI International – chances and opportunities


Set up seminars

As an Instructor you can set up seminars. Use the menus „seminars“ and „set up seminars“.

The Instructors‘ area is only available for qualified SAMI Instructors.

My Instructors qualificationsIn addition to your own trainings you can enter your Instructors qualifications. Please add your venue‘s address, as this information is crucial for the Instructors lists pages on the SAMI website (www.knifefighting-concept.at, www.kapap.at, www.panantukan.at,..) as well as for the seminars which you set up.

Choose the style you teach and your Instructors level from the respective drop down menus. Your Instructors qualification must be activated by an administrator. The administrator will automatically be informed about your request. You may be asked to submit certifications for your qualifications.Use „+ more styles“ to enter as many Instructors qualifications as necessary.Use the little red x to the right of the lines to delete lines you do no longer need.

Complete ALL the necessary items. Note: more detailed and complete information makes it easier for the participants to understand your offer.If you offer a seminar, which lasts more than one day, please add the training times of each day in the seminar description.

You can announce your seminars in German and English.Choose the respective tab: „Deutsch“ or „English“.Please enter your text in the matching language.The seminars will not only appear at SAMI International, they will also be linked to the respective pages (German and English).

You may upload an image and/or a flyer for your seminar. Safe your entry to see what it will look like at SAMI International.

Note: You can edit your seminars, still you are not allowed to delete them. If you wish to delete a seminar, contact an administrator ([email protected]).

Should a seminar not take place. it is recommended to mark the announcement as „cancelled“ or „postponed“, rather than completely deleting the seminar. This will also inform potential partici-pants who have not yet booked the seminar.

Show archiveThe button „show archive“ lets you search for past seminars. Click the button to see all past semi-nars. Click „close archive“ to close this view.
