Introduction
This PG&E Online Ordering System was created to help users browse marketing materials. Users
can order items and ship to any location. This step by step manual will help guide you the online
ordering system.
Login Users will be required to login into a secured hosting site: https://ecom.alom.com/alom-pge/

Each page will have a "Status Bar". The active page is highlighted with a teal background.
For new users, an account must be created prior to proceeding.
Click the radio button next to "I am a new user" and click "Continue >>"
Users will be taken to the Account Setup page.

navigation links active.

New users are required to enter the following information: Email Address First Name Last Name Password Once completed, users can click "Send Authentication Email". Users will be directed to a page stating that an email will be sent to the registered email address for verification (see figure 3).

Users are required to click the hyperlinked URL to complete their registration.

Once the user verifies the email address, the following screen will appear:

The new user may click to the "Click Here" to begin a new order. The user will be directed to the Profile Page.
Once all the fields are entered, click "Save Profile". The information stored on the profile may be modified at anytime by clicking on the "My Account" link located in the top right hand corner. The new user will be able to start shopping for new orders.

Ordering Online Users may start new orders once logged in and fully registered.

Click "Start Order" to start a new Order, or use the "Re-Order" button to process a previous
order. Users may also edit their profile from this page.
Starting New Orders When starting a new order, the basket (found on the left side column) is empty.

Users may click on items to add to basket.
The Literature page is organized for users to select from images, search by Part Numbers
(C-XXXX) or by product name.
Users can enter the requested quantity in the text box to the left of the part number, see figure
9. Users can also click on the thumbnail photo for a larger view of the image. A full pdf copy can
be viewed by clicking the Click "Here" link.

The basket on the left column will display the item name and quantity ordered as items are
added to basket, see figure 10.

Users can click "Checkout" once all the requested items have been added.
Checking Out – Shipping Page The checkout screen gives a review of the items ordered, the requestor information, Program Order number and shipping information.

Users may add or remove items, update quantities, or Cancel the order. Please note that all users may Cancel Order on any Literature or Shipping Page. Once the check out page is completed, click on "Review Order"

Users may add or subtract items by clicking on "Make Changes". Once the user verifies the information posted, click "Send Order".

Once the user sends the order, an email confirmation will be sent to the email address on file.

If your order requires approval, you will receive an email once your order is approved.
