HISTORY & ARQUITECTURE

Located in a historic building from the 19th century, it

originally belonged to the Marquisate of Alhama, a nobility

created in 1865 by the Spanish Queen Elizabeth II. Before

becoming a hotel, this historic building housed several

apartments, all of them of quite considerable size. There

once was a book shop at street level, called Librería

Padrino, which we have kept its facade and its street sign.

Décor has the signature of prestigious interior designer

Lázaro Rosa-Vilán, who has created a cozy, warm and

sophisticated space that incorporates a hint of colonial

style with a Mediterranean touch, reinterpreting it in a

contemporary, elegant and welcoming way. Visitors will be

able to experience a new concept that combines the city’s

most traditional and authentic architecture with the latest

design and technology.


THE HOTEL

Only YOU Hotel & Lounge Madrid opened in October 2013, part of the urban hotel brand Ayre Hoteles, which belongs to the Palladium Hotel Group and is renowned for its commitment to innovation. In October 2015 after two successful years, the hotel extended its facilities, creating more rooms and innovative spaces, consolidating the Only YOU Hotel and Lounge Madrid concept.

The result is a surprising combination of a hotel and a trendy lifestyle branch, designed by prestigious interior designer Lázaro Rosa-Violán,that is willing to satisfy customers that wish to stay in warmer, friendlier and yet sophisticated environments.
