A decision was made on the date noted above to approve the new Official Plan for the City of Quinte'West, as adopted by By-lawNo. I l-122, subject to modifications as outlined in the attached clecision.

Purpose and Effect of the Official PlanThe new Official Plan will cover all land within the administrative limits of the City of Quinte West.The Plan has been completed to be consistent with the 2005 Provincial Policy Statement (PPS), andprovide an updated local policy framework to guide developmentto203l. The Plan is a detaileddocument which provides policy dircction in the areas of land use, geneml development policies,transportation, environmental and resource protection, and policy implementation.
