great examples to talk you through how they have achieved community engagement in their schemes. Learn how to bring owners and tenants together with something as simple as a vegetable garden or Facebook page.

panel consisting of a lawyer, long-time chairman and Owners Corporation Network representative will talk to you about the resources available to help you manage your own scheme and where you might need to get some help.
2.45pm Defects Our panel of strata industry experts talk about project
management, remedial works and more when it comes to sorting out building defects. Hear from our strata remedial specialist, a strata manager who has managed a complex project and a concrete expert.
3.30pm Afternoon tea around trade exhibition booths
4.00pm Risk management – combined session In the last session of the day we make sure you go home
with the tools to deal with all sorts of issues. This is your how to guide on financial management, sinking funds and dealing with emergencies.

A day for all strata owners, consumers, executive committee members, industry, community and stakeholders to be educated, entertained, updated and have your queries answered.
We are very pleased to announce that the day will open with Robyn Moore who is known to change people’s attitudes, behaviours, and their lives. She has a
proven record that she can and has spoken to virtually every type of audience in in Australia.
For our third year we will be joined by the always entertaining Jimmy Thomson, columnist on the Sydney Morning Herald and owner of the Flat Chat website with Flat Chat Live - with a Q & A style session with a panel of industry experts.
This will follow on with sessions from other speakers who will educate and update you in all things to do with living in strata.

The website and problem-solving forum flat-chat.com.au based on his newspaper column now attracts an average of well over 1000 unique visitors per day. Jimmy also is a frequent guest on radio and TV, answering questions about apartment living, and is a popular speaker at conferences and seminars on the subject.

Due to one way road systems on George Street, please note that car access to Sydney Hilton is via Pitt Street only. Please program 255 Pitt Street if using a car navigational device. There is a secure underground car park located at Hilton Sydney. This car park is owned and managed by Secure Parking. Self-parking fee is $51.20 for 24 hours from time of entry. Hilton Valet Parking is available ($68 for 24 hours) or enter the car park directly and Secure will park the car for you at casual parking rates.
