the central console...
...and the plastic cover behind and remove
Unclip the gearstick cover Unscrew screws 1 and 2 located below the gearstick

from the bottom to the top And carefully remove it

Unclip the 2 covers located above the air vent thumb wheels and rotate
them outwards (without removing)
Unscrew screws 3, 4, 5 and 6 located around the radio façade
Unplug the 4 connectors located behind it and remove the façade
Unscrew screws 7 and 8 located above the radio unit, then pull and disconnect the connector
and antenna

Using the plastic trim tools, unclip the cover located on the
passenger side of the dashboard
Unscrew screws 9 and 10 located above the glove box

Unscrew screw 11 located at the bottom left behind the glove box
door
Unscrew screw 12 located on the passenger door chassis at the bottom right of the glove box
Pull up and disconnect the light and then remove
Remove the passenger side door seal

Finding an ACC wire
Unclip the cigarette lighter cover located in the centre of the centre
console
Unplug the cigarette lighter connector

Make a splice into the violet cable or use a jumper
Connect a wire and pass it to the radio (check the presence of
+APC with a Multimeter)

Connect the +APC wire to the blue wire of connector

Microphone passage
Using the plastic trim tools, pass the cable through the headliner
near the rain sensor
Glue the supplied bracket under the rain sensor cover, after
degreasing
Using the plastic trim tools, run the cable under the head liner and down the windscreen post
Run the cable replacing the seal on the passenger door

Pass the cable into the dashboard on the right side
Run, and attach with wire ties, the cable under the dashboard in
the glove box housing

On the left side of the glove box, insert the cable into the hinge
hole...
... and bring it out leaving sufficient length

Connect the adapter to the factory connector and store the junction in the top right of the
radio housing and pass the kit connector behind...

...to bring it out in the glove box. Connect all of the wires to the blue box as shown in the diagram below. Test the assembly before
reassembly then slide all the cables behind the glove box and attach them with wire ties

Slide the assembly to the left side of the glove box and attach
with wire ties

Pass the cable through the hole located on the left of the radio
next to the air vent
Glue the bracket (supplied) to the central screen cover after carefully
degreasing the surface (ATTENTION do not cut the cable when replacing
the façade)
Pass the cable behind the radio housing

Testing
Before refitting the system, switch the kit on using the ignition (or by starting the car). By pushing the central knob
of the remote control, check:
1 - that the menu is displayed on the screen (language or iPod etc) 2 - that the radio system is muted when the kit is in use (click in the blue box) 3 - that the sound through all speakers is properly muted 4 - that there is sound through the front speakers for spoken menus 5 - then turn off the ignition, verify that the kit turns off and that the message “goodbye” is displayed on the screen (otherwise reverse the fuses on the kit power supply harness) 6 - pair a telephone with the kit and make a call (check that both the microphone and the kit are working)

Refitting
Refit the system using the following procedure: 1 - replace, taking care to reconnect the adapter and the antenna, the radio unit and replace screws 7 and 8 2 - reconnect the 4 connectors to the façade and replace screws 3, 4, 5 and 6 3 - replace, turning ¼ of a turn towards the radio, the air vent thumbwheel covers 4 - reclip the centre console cover and replace screws 1 and 2 5 - remount the gear lever cover 5 - replace the plastic cover then the rubber cover on the bottom of the centre console 7 - replace the glove box and replace screws 9, 10, 11 and 12 8 - refit the right dashboard panel
