All bowlers bowling in a San Francisco certified league with a 2011-12 membership card issued by the San Francisco USBC prior to this tournament’s entry closing date are eligible to participate. 2. Teams will bowl 3 games in the team event, 3 games in sin gles and 3 games in doubles events. Each team shall consist of four (4) members, doubles 2 members and singles 1 member. Team event only may be bowled more than once but the same team can only cash once. The first team score bowled will count towards the bowler’s all-events total. 3. Handicap for team event wi ll be 90% of 880; Doubles 90% to 440; Singles 90% to 220. An individual or team over the maximum will bowl scratch. 4. Entering average: a. Last season April 15, 2011 (2010/2011) highest USBC league average of 21 or more games. b. If no 2010/11 average, u se highest current season (2011/12) USBC average as of J anuary 1, 2012 for 21 or more games. Average verification must be submitted with entry c. When a bowler’s current 21 game average as of January 1, 2012 is 10 or more pins higher than the previous season’s average, that average must be used. d. Bowlers with neither of the above averages will use their 2010/11 Summer Av erage of 21 or more games as of August 31, 2011 . Average verification must be submitted with entry. Any bowler without a verified average at the time of bowling will use 225. If after 10 days no verified average is submitted, the 225 average will stand. e. Rule 319a2 will be waived. (If current season average for at least 21 games at the time of bowling exceeds last season’s average by 10 or more pins, current average must be used.) f. Rule 319a3 w ill apply (it is each bowler’s responsibili ty to v erify the ac curacy of their own average). Failure to use the correct average may disqualify the score if submitted average is lower than correct average, thereby resulting in a low er classification or more handicap. Prize winnings will be based on the submitted average, if it is higher than the correct average. g. Rule 319d w ill apply (reporting o f previous tournament winnings) and R ule 319e will apply (tournament average). 5. Teams may be comprised of all men, all w omen or mix ed. 6. All decisions of the tournament director are final unless an appeal is made in accordance with Rule 329. 7. Awards – Scrat ch will prevail over handicap. Series will prevail over Game. 8. A separate priz e fund will be available for those entering the optional “Scratch” All Events. No awards will be provided. 9. Bowlers should w ear appropriate tournament attire.
