An open source toolkit for entrepreneurs
Open Source software has changed the world…
Freely shareable open source software has changed the entire world, bringing us:
Linux, most of the internet, the majority of websitesWikipedia, the Creative CommonsAndroid, most mobile phones100,000’s of new SMEsToday >86% of all companies worldwide use open source software
… but software was just the start
The Open source revolution is moving to the real world
Open Source Hardware shares designs for physical objects that you can manufacture anywhere
MOOCs are open source applied to education
The next twenty years will see immense changes in the way we do things

Open Source HardwareThe price of flexible machines for making things is collapsing
3D Printers were €20,000 in 2010, now available from €200
The core enabling technology is low-cost electronics and open source machine control

About us
We are a team of entrepreneurs with a shared passion for open innovation.
We aim to create experimental laboratories, to prototype ideas and create businesses
We see an ecological fablab as a tool for expanding open source innovation beyond the software world into more tangible things

Circular Economy
Inserting ourselves into the local industrial ecosystem
Here in GenevaThe Geneva area has mostly lost it’s prototyping ecosystem.
It’s not in great shape for the Internet of Things.
Even industries like watches and jewellery are too traditional to innovate.
…part of the solutionA FabLab provides a shared resource for the entrepreneurial community: digital fabrication equipment and expertise for physical prototyping and small production runs.
An entrepreneurial FabLab is part of the collaborative economy, sitting alongside co-working spaces as a resource for local entrepreneurs starting their activities.
For example:
Newco.ch wants to create an activity tracker with air quality measurement in the wearable IoT space.
Our planBuild creative spaces to stimulate local innovation
A hybrid mix of fablab, creative lab, media lab, nutrition lab, mobile lab and edu lab
Prototyping ideas of any kind
Use the frontier - and work with the network of other spaces - we can’t do everything!
