OPEN HOUSE NOTICE JANUARY 15, 2020 BOUNDARY ADJUSTMENT FOR ST ROSE OF LIMA AND DIVINE MERCY CATHOLIC ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS On an annual basis, the Planning Department of the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board (DPCDSB) undertakes boundary reviews to balance enrolments at schools as part of the DPCDSB’s long-term strategic planning goals. In some cases, boundary adjustments can help alleviate enrolment pressures at schools and provide permanent classroom accommodation for students rather than temporary classrooms such as portables. The DPCDSB has undertaken a boundary analysis for St Rose of Lima and Divine Mercy Catholic Elementary Schools. It has been determined that a boundary change is required to balance the enrolments in the neighbourhood schools and to make efficient use of under-utilized space The boundary adjustment redirects existing and future students from the new residential development located south of Eglinton Avenue West, east of Glen Erin Drive and west of Erin Mills Parkway from St Rose of Lima to Divine Mercy. Transportation for these students will be provided by the DPCDSB to Divine Mercy. The new boundary will be effective starting September 2020 for existing students. Please see map on reverse of this letter.
