UG-wide community that brings together staff, and provides advice, support, and training for those who want to engage in open science.

Target groupResearchers, students, and support staff of all UG faculties who are open and curious with regards to responsible research practices.

Mission• To improve the quality of scientific practice of the

UG/UMCG, and the reliability of its results.

• Meeting the increasing demand for training and support in the adoption of reproducible and responsible science practices within the UG/UMCG.

• Closing the gap between research and society.

Daan Ornée started organizing Open Science journal club meetings called “ReproducibiliTea”@GroningenTea

• Started in April this year• Organized 13 meetings• Topics: Rmarkdown, p-hacking, pre-regs• Output: 3 blogs, and counting
