● Computers are not common in Hong Kong.● Some 2nd hand computers were installed
in school library, and free for students.● I started to use and learn computers.● I wrote 1st GWBASIC program at 1st month,
not “Hello World”.● Learnt DOS and UNIX commands from
books.

● I had my own PC at home.● I operated a dialup BBS.● I subscribed commerical interent service.● I found a UNIX OS which can be run on PC
computers.
