CMOS Release R11.0
ORWG October 2021
NCC024 – SMR Project 3: Meter read rejections
Removal of case sensitivity on meter manufacturer (D3013) and manufacturer serial number (D3014) that applies to VR.291 (Meter does not exist in the central system) and VR.291-2 (Meter does not exist in the central system with initial meter reading date).
The notification (.M) will return the matched meter details in CMOS and could be a different value than the details submitted in the transaction.

CMOS Release R11.0
ORWG October 2021
Example:
T114.W submitted Manufacturer: ACTARIS and Serial Number: 20LU012345
CMOS finds a match that in the DB is Manufacturer: Actaris and Serial Number: 20lu012345
The T114.M notification will send Manufacturer: Actaris and Serial Number: 20lu012345

CMOS Release R11.0 NCC024 – SMR Project 3: Meter read rejections
ORWG October 2021
Transactions TCORR173.W (Amend I or F Meter Read), TCORR174.W (Erase Meter) and TCORR180.W (Amend Meter Identification) will not change:
These transactions will continue to be case sensitive

Service Desk feedback
Please respond to “Satisfaction Survey Request” from the Service Desk whenever you receive an email ([email protected])
Please communicate this to your colleagues that raise tickets with the Service Desk
It’s important to get feedback to resolve any issues, improve the service or praise for the good service received.

Non-Code Change Process
21
Guidance and template: CMOS > MOSL Guidance > Non-Code Change (NCC) Request Guidance and NCC Change Request Template
Simplified process
Allows changes to CMOS or MOSL systems to be requested and considered
Fill in the template and email [email protected]
ORWG October 2021
NCC on MOSL website (Market Codes > Change > Non-Code Change Requests)
22ORWG August 2021
Always use the latest Proforma available on our website (CMOS > Administration)
Make sure you only fill in the required fields as per instructions in the Proforma, for example:
If you only want to add a new certificate to a specific environment as the previous one is going to expire, do not add previous IP addresses to be whitelisted or existing certificates
Make sure you summarise in the email to [email protected] what you would like
Authorised users: we sent a communication to all Contract Managers to provide a list of authorised users that can submit Proformas – we will continue to do it on a regular basis – minimum yearly.

Proformas
ORWG October 2021
Phase 2:
TP feedback continues to be positive (any feedback? email [email protected])
System performing well with low number of defects
>1,300 C1 requests raised by 31 TPs
Moving C1 to BAU 18th of October
Targeting delivery of B5 (meter repair/replace) end of January 2022
Phase 3:
Have explored lessons from Phase 2 to take into next phase
Recognition that C1 is significantly richer than a MVP
We need to be stricter about functionality levels (protect budget and timescale)
Delivering first 8 processes to MVP remains key
24
Bilaterals Update
ORWG October 2021
A couple of TPs to connect to Production
Contact:
[email protected] for connectivity issues (LVI, HVI), user access and logins
[email protected] general queries, support with the process, defects.
Are you receiving the relevant communications? Any questions, issues or suggestions?
25
Bilaterals Update
ORWG October 2021
Contract Managers – any information that must reach the trading party, e.g., plans, proposals, key meetings, user requirements, testing, system performance, outages, defects.
Pathfinder Group – attendees support early testing and provide sounding board to consider MOSL proposals and help guide programme
Bilateral Transactions Programme – high level only, general interest
OAG (Operational Advisory Group) – all meeting inputs and outputs relating to process reviews, user requirements, etc.
CAG (Code Advisory Group) – all meeting inputs and outputs relating to code change drafting and process

Data issues – CMOS users
CMOS users – August we had 5,478 active users. Today 5,461
August: 2,815 users are active but blocked. Today 2,547 – it’s likely they do not need access – please action (We sent a list of these users to CMs)
CSD006 – Trading Party Administration and Notification Process (Market Codes > Codes)
Trading Parties are responsible for maintaining user accounts on the Market Operator Systems, including the termination of accounts as part of the exit process for leavers, but always within one (1) week of the user having left the Trading Party.
If you would like a list of your active users in CMOS to review, request it via email to [email protected] (Needs Contract Manager/Authorised user approval)
42ORWG October 2021
Data issues – Remedy users
Remedy users – maximum 10 users per Trading Party – on track
If you would like a list of your Remedy users to review, request it via email to [email protected] (Needs Contract Manager/Authorised user approval)

HVI Transactions
Maximum number of transactions to be submitted: 3,600/hour/TP (since the end of March 2020 increased to 4,000/hour/TP from 8am to 6pm and, 6,000/hour between 6pm and 12am and 3:30am to 8am). No transactions to be submitted between 12am and 3:30am.
MVI Transactions
5,000 transactions/TP/month
We have increased this since the end of March 2020 for specific situations, but larger volumes need to be communicated in advance for acceptance and planning. (email [email protected])
In any case, only submit one batch at a time. Once that batch is completed, then another one can be submitted – never submit several batches at once
