BACKGROUND ON THE PETER M. TULLY LECTURE:Peter M. Tully was the Senior Vice President of Municipal Finance for First Albany Corp and
an authority on tax-exempt bonds. He was married to Anne Tully G ’79, former Assistant Vice
President for Graduate Admissions at Saint Rose. Anne worked at the College for more than
twenty years, and was instrumental in developing the adult and graduate education
programs at the College. After Peter’s passing in December 1997, the annual Saint Rose
lectureship in financial services and economic growth was named in his honor.
RUTH H. MAHONEY serves as Market President for KeyBank’s Capital Region market,
and as such is the senior executive, representative and spokeswoman, and leads the
organization’s economic and community development efforts. She also oversees the
Retail Bank in the Capital Region.
