IntroductIon

The FEIN KBB series was developed for the toughest applications. The sturdy construction and practical basic functionality make this an efficient range of tools, equally suitable for the workshop, the construction site or specialist installation projects.

The FEIN KBM series is a range of universal, high-quality core drilling units. As well as core and full drilling, they are also suitable for tapping, reaming and countersinking.

Whether for steel, stainless steel or aluminium, FEIN has the core drilling solution you need.

In 1895, FEIN invented the world’s first electric hand drill. The same spirit of innovation and German-built quality goes into every FEIN core drilling unit. With more than 25 years of ongoing development, FEIN has succeeded in perfecting core drilling technology.

In February 2011, FEIN further increased its knowledge in power tools and metal working by acquiring US company Jancy Engineering Inc. Jancy is an industry leader in core drilling units, HSS core drill bits and other specialist tools, perfectly complementing FEIN’s existing product range. Jancy was founded in Davenport, Iowa in the 1950s and has gained an enviable reputation among professional users with its quality, reliability and value.

FEIN has now complimented the versatile KBM core drilling range with a number of tried-and-tested KBB core drilling units, as well as expanding its range of HSS core drill bits. All featuring the durability and quality that has always been associated with FEIN.

FEIN KBB 40 – Compact core drilling unit for confined spaces.

The FEIN KBB 40 is a core drilling unit for diameters of up to 40 mm. Designed for installation work, it features a spindle sleeve feed function. The motor and jig are cast from a single block, keeping the height constantly equal during operation. With its compact dimensions and rugged construction, this tool is ideal for working in confined spaces on the construction site.
