In a dedicated, gallery-worthy space inside Animal League America’s Adoption Center, lies the Tribute Tile Gallery, where donors commemorate a beloved pet. Tribute Tiles include Beth & Howard Stern’s beloved bulldog, Bianca and The Dog Whisperer Cesar Millan’s beloved Pitbull, Daddy. You can purchase one or more customized, 6” x 6” ceramic tiles that feature a full-color photo of your four-legged friend along with your personalized message.

Not only will your Tribute Tile remain a permanent part of the Tribute Tile Gallery at North Shore Animal League America, but you can receive a second tile that is either inlaid in a felt-lined wooden keepsake box or placed in a wooden frame, suitable for hanging. The second tile will be mailed to you at no additional cost.

North Shore Animal League America is the largest, NO-KILL animal rescue and adoption organization in the world.

Founded in 1944, Animal League America has found loving homes for over 1 million dogs, cats, puppies and kittens.

Our campus, located in Port Washington, New York, is visited by tens of thousands of potential adopters each year and walking tours are provided to supporters, corporations and foundations.

The campus includes a spacious Adoption Center, a state-of-the-art Medical Center, Rescue Ark, 24-hour care Nursery, Special Recovery Center, Cat Habitat, Dog Park and Pet Store. On-site, we provide shelter and quality care for 350 homeless pets at any given time.

Animal League America maintains a beautiful, tree-lined brick walkway in front of The Alex Lewyt Veterinary Medical Center. The Medical Center cares for 60,000 pets each year, servicing both our adopters and the community.
