Presents: ICS-400 This course directs the student towards an operational understanding of large single-agency and complex multiagency/multijurisdictional incident responses. Topics include fundamentals review for command and general staff, major and /or complex incident/event management, area command, and multi-agency coordination. Its objective is to explain how major incidents pose special management challenges. It will describe the circumstances in which an Area Command is established. Describe the circumstances in which Multiagency Coordination Systems are established. Use ICS to manage an incident or event. Prerequisite: ICS-100, ICS-200 & ICS-300 Date: November 29, 2017 & November 30, 2017 0830 - 1700 hours Instructors: Constant Associates Where: Anaheim Emergency Operations Center 909 E. Vermont Ave Anaheim, CA 92805 Cost: This course is free of charge. The class is sponsored by UASI. UASI funds do not cover backfill, holdover, or overtime for students. Registration: Class enrollment will be on a first come, first serve basis. Go to the OCIAC website to enroll (https://ociac.ca.gov / Training Calendar) prior to 1700 hours on November 17, 2018. Dress Code: Class-C uniform or business casual. No T-shirts, shorts, or sandals please.
