Orangeries

Hardwood orangeries are constructed from a broad assortment of timbers. The most frequently used timbers these days are oak, mahogany, meranti, sapele mahogany, etc. Astonishingly, certain hardwoods are not an appropriate material for conservatories, for example beechwood. Even if this is an excellent wood to be used internally, it is not sturdy enough for external purposes.
