Take part, have fun, stay safe.Children love swimming outdoors, but swimming in the sea, rivers and lakes is very different to swimming in a pool.

Swim Safe offers a unique opportunity for children aged between 7 and 14 to learn how to keep themselves safe when swimming outdoors, and what to do if they get into trouble.

On the 10, 12, 15, 16 and 19 July 2019, school children across the region will have the chance to take part in a fun, practical, interactive Swim Safe session at the University of Worcester, Lakeside Campus.

Sessions will also be open to the public on 27 July and 3, 4, 10 and 11 August 2019.

Come along to learn all about how to stay safe by the lakeside. Each hour long session is completely free and includes both dry land activities and up to 30 minutes in-water tuition with qualified lifeguards and swimming teachers.

Visit swimsafe.org.uk to book your place, or via [email protected] or call 01905 622 223

Children must be able to swim at least 25 metres to take part. Responsible adults must be present during the session.
