National Association of Congregational Christian Churches.

• OUR DEEPEST SYMPATHIES: Charles Droege passed away on August 20, 2017. A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, September 2, 2017 at 10 AM. Let us remember to pray for God’s comfort and peace for Phyllis and his family in this time of bereavement and loss.

• SUMMER BIBLE STUDY: This will be the final week of Pastor Brian’s Bible Study series on Wednesday, August 30th at 9 AM in Alexander Hall.

• OCTOBER ROADRUNNER DEADLINE FOR ARTICLES: Please send any articles, photos, or information to Terri King in the church office by September 15th for inclusion in the October Roadrunner.

• PROJECTOR TRAINING SEPTEMBER 5TH: The projector system returns in September. We are still looking for volunteers to be trained. The first training session will be September 5th at 9 AM in the church sanctuary. This will be a group session and all are welcome to attend that can help with the project system. If you are interested, please contact Pepper at 623-210-3355.

• MEMBERSHIP BOARD MEETING SEPTEMBER 6TH: There is a membership board meeting scheduled for Wednesday, September 6th at 8:30 AM in the conference room.

• CHOIR PRACTICE RESUMES SEPTEMBER 7TH: Choir rehearsals resume September 7th at 2:30 PM in the choir room. All voices are welcome. If you have any questions, please contact Jane Higgs at 623-910-6355 or [email protected].

• OUR DAILY BREAD: The September/October/November issue of Our Daily Bread is now available on the counter in the Narthex.

• FROM NANCY ASENDORF: “Thank you to everyone who prayed for my successful surgery and who sent me cards and emails wishing me a speedy recovery.
