Change for a Dollar - All $1.00 bills put in the offering plate will
be added to the Change for a Dollar fund. This fund will be used for folks in your circle of work, school, or neighborhood that could use a little help. See Pastor Michelle for a form to fill out if you would like to nominate someone for some of these funds.
BLOSSOM HILL CALENDAR AND NEWS Two host families needed for the 2017-2018 school year for
two Nigerian high school students studying at LMS. Both stu-dents (1 boy and 1 girl) are connected to the Mennonite Church in Nigeria and would prefer to stay with families attending Men-nonite churches here in Lancaster. The guardians of the stu-dents are able to afford a modest monthly payment to offset some of the costs of hosting. For more information please con-tact Christy Horst, Elvin Kennel, Jeremiah Denlinger, or Kirk Benner. See newsletter for contact information.
Facebook- Do you know that Blossom Hill has a Facebook page? Please take a moment to visit and like our page.
No Summer Sunday School -Our last day for Sunday School for both adults and children was June 11. There will be no SS classes June 18 through August 20. Classes will resume on Au-gust 27. Morning worship will continue to begin at 10:30 am through the summer.
Vacation Bible School - July 10-13 from 6pm to 8pm. For children ages 4 though those entering 5th grade. Look for the signup sheet in the foyer.
To all musicians….This is an invitation to anyone interested in sharing their musical talents during our Sunday morning ser-vices. This could be by providing music for prelude, offering, special music and leading singing. Experience is not necessary. Just a willingness to participate. I look forward to talking with anyone interested. Carol Welch - [email protected]
Volunteers for Chestnut Housing- the challenge for the month of June is to finish Apartments 3 and 2. It would be most helpful to have groups of one or two or a few people who can take on some of the more detailed tasks listed such as hang-ing cabinets, installing a door, cleaning, touch up painting. If you or anyone in your circles is able to consider giving some time during the month of June, please let Amy know at [email protected] -717.419.5267.
Are you considering a change in your life or career? Are you in transition? Consider exploring a change with a new Blos-som Hill group that will meet over the next three months to help one another brainstorm ideas and solutions to discovering a new direction. We will utilize exercises from Laura Berman Fortgang's book, “Now What? 90 Days to a New Life Direc-tion”. The meeting schedule will be decided by the group and may include Skype or WebEx to accommodate busy summer schedules. For more information, please contact Michele Whit-ley at [email protected] or (717) 201-2971.
