The trumpet of the Lord sounds, calling us to examine our souls, for we have not only met temptation, we have felt its grip. The trumpet of the Lord sounds, calling us to mend our ways, for we have not only committed sin, we have felt its sting. The trumpet of the Lord sounds, calling us to rend our hearts, for we have not only witnessed forgiveness, we have felt its power.O come, let us worship God!

God of mercy, you sent Jesus Christ to seek and save the lost.We confess that we have strayed from you and turned aside from your way. Create in us a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit in us. Amen.

We Respond to the Word in Faith

Armation of Faith | The Apostles’ Creed

I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suered under Pontius Pilate, was crucied, dead, and buried; he descended into hell; the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic Church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen.

OeringThose joining in worship “in-person” were invited to participate in oering their tithes and gifts as they entered the sanctuary.
