2. Venmo Open Venmo. If you aren't logged into Venmo, enter your email address and password when prompted. If you haven't yet registered for a Venmo account, sign up for Venmo before attempting to sign in. Tap the "Pay or Request" icon. Select a recipient. Enter Amount. Tap the "What's it for?" text box below your recipient's name, then type in the note (e.g., "Weekly Giving"). Tap Pay. �is blue button is in the lower-right side of the screen.
3. Vanco (via our website) Go to our website: www.ShawneeUM.churchClick on the Giving tab (on the far right) Click on the link to be taken to our Online Giving Page. You must then create an Online Pro�le (or you may log in once you’ve already set it up). Once you have created a pro�le and are logged in, you may add a transaction and �ll out the donation portion. �is can be a one time, weekly or monthly donation. At any time if you want to make changes you can head over to our online giving page and log in to your account and make changes.

For Android devices, visit the Google Play Store.If you’re located in the church building and making your �rst Givelify donation during o�ering time: Tap Nearby and the Givelify mobile giving app will locate you automatically. A blue pin will appear on the map at your location. Tap the pin to bring up a window with the name and address of your church.�en tap Give To to start your donation. If you’re not present at services the �rst time you give: Tap Search and type in the name, city and state (or zip code) of your church. You will see a list of churches, with your church’s name at the top.Tap Give To to start your donation. At the bottom of your church’s pro�le, tap Give. Choose from a pre-set donation amount or tap Other to enter your own. Tap Give Now at the bottom of the screen to complete your donation.

THANK YOU to everyone who donated to Harvest for the Hungry. Shanwee UMC was able to donate $16,000 locally to serve hungry families.
WHITE FRAGILITY - A BOOK DISCUSSION Continuing this week, you are invited to join Pastor Bryan in a discussion of the book "White Fragility: Why It's So Hard For White People to Talk About Racism" by Robin DiAngelo. DiAngelo is a white woman who does coaching and instruction for institutions, corporations, and not-for-profits on the subject of racism. Her years of experience working, particularly working with white audiences, led her to write this book about difficulties she's encountered helping people discuss matters of race. You are welcome to pick up a copy of the book (online wherever you buy books) & join us for a discussion Tonight, July 19th for Chapters 5-8, and July 26th for Chapters 9-12) from 7-8(ish)pm via Zoom. Our friends Dr. LaMont Monford and Pastor Daniel Hughes will be joining us for some of our conversation.
