youth of the country the excitements of creative pursuit of science, attract talent to the study
of science at an early age and thus build the required critical human resource pool for strength-
ening and expanding the Science & Technology system and R & D base. Astriking feature of the
programme is that it does not believe in conducting competitive exams for identification of
talent at any level. It believes in and relies on the efficacy of the existing educational structure
for identification of talent. INSPIRE comprises of following schemes: 1. Scheme for Early Attrac-
tion of Talent for Science (SEATS). 2. Scholarship for Higher Education(SHE) . 3. INSPIRE Fellow-
ship Scheme. 4. INSPIRE Faculty Scheme.
One of the component of SEATS is INSPIRE Internship in which science camps are organised
through various reputed institutes. The objective of organizing the INSPIRE Internship camp is
to reveal the joys of innovation to the talented youth of the nation to pursue study in science
