PROGRAM INFORMATIONTarget Group: The Aging & Senior Programs Division maintains a medical equipment loan closet to facilitate temporary provision of durable medical equipment to qualified persons.  Supplies are limited to what is on hand at the time of the request, but generally consist of: walkers, canes, bath/shower benches, and transport wheelchairs.

“Equipment on-hand in the loan closet can be checked out, free of charge, for a period of 90 days.  A client contact form must be completed and signed for all borrowed equipment.  At the end of the 90-day loan period, equipment must be returned sanitized and in good working condition.  An extension of up to an additional 90 days may be permitted on a case-by-case basis, should the loan closet have sufficient inventory.”
