Maintenance contract for non core activities of AC & TL coaches at BBS and PUI coaching.

Operation and Comprehensive Maintenance of 500 KVA Diesel Generator sets provided in the Power Cars at Puri and Bhubaneswar Coaching Depot.

Maintenance contract for pantry equipments in SG coaches of Trains other than Rajdhani Express (BBS-NDLS-BBS) & Duronto Exp. (PUI-HWH-PUI) at PUI & BBS coaching depot.

Maintenance of Pantry equipment of Rajdhani & Duronto Express. Proposed hiring of 02 nos truck (1 Ton loading capacity -01 no and 9Ton

loading Capacity-01 no) for carrying of Railway materials under of Elect(G) department of Khurda Road division.

Transportation of HSD Oil from KUR to PUI and fueling of Power Car of Train No.12277/12278 (Duronto Exp.) at PUI coaching depot.

Hiring of Road Vehicle along with driver for transporting the maintenance staff for attending Breakdown and Maintenance of Electrical Systems round the clock (24 Hrs) between SKND-DATR-KDJR-NYG section of East Coast Railway in KUR Division.

3. IMPORTANT WORKS DURING 2012-2013: 3.1 TRAFFIC & TERMINAL FACILITY WORKS

1. Electrification of Yard (Route No 15,16,7,8,11 & 12) at PRDP has been done to facilitate welding of sick wagons.

2. 03 nos, of 22 Mtr High masts are commissioned at station and Goods shed at MCS.

3. To improve maintenance of the Coaching Trains during night time additional 50 nos. 36W FL fittings provided on pit lines in the Coaching Complex/BBS

3.2 PASSENGER AMENITY WORKS 1. 1534 nos. Mobile charging points has been provided in AC coaches at PUI &

BBS coaching depot for which the Public complaint has been reduced from 34 nos. to 16 nos. during the period April to December- 2012 as compared to last year (2011).

2. 20 Nos. of refrigerator & deep freezers have been replaced in pantry cars at BBS & coaching depot for improvement of pantry services

3. Electrification of FOB has been done at JKPR, KRIH, HND, KAPG, HMA, GAM, GTA, SPT, MMS, RJGR, GNGD, HND & BUDR Station.

4. One 250 KVA DG set commissioned at KUR filter house for water supply & CTS service.

5. Electrification of PF No. 5 & 6 at KUR station has been done. 6. Electrification of new booking office near main gate No-1 of CTC Railway

station has been done.

3.3 ROAD SAFETY WORKS 1. 15 Nos. of new LC gates have been electrified. (CT-29, CT-56, CT- 71, JB-9,

JB-12, JB-18, CP-4, CP-41, 171,182, 192, 238. 242, 319 & 325). 2. LC gate No 242, JB-9 & JB-18 is electrified with provision of solar lights

3.5 OTHER IMPORTANT WORKS 1. Fuse Distribution Box cover of 818no.TL coaches modified with additional

screws with sealant for safety measure against fire hazard at Coaching depot/ PUI & BBS.

2. To avoid water leakage on electrical panel, Fabricated aluminum try has been provided in top of the panel in 37 coaches, this will also reduce short circuit in panel & avoid fire Hazard due to water leakage.

3. Modification of OVP in 4.5 KW RRU has been done in 6 nos RRU at coaching depot /PUI.

4. 01 no “V“belt grading machine has been provided at BBS coaching depot. 5. To improve reliability of charging of TL coaches 60 nos. corroded junction

boxes replaced in IPL-3A in Coaching complex/BBS. 6. One 2X250 KVA sub-station commissioned at MCS. 7. One 160 KVA DG set commissioned at ORH/PUI exclusively to feed to ORH.

8. Electrification of new meeting hall near CDO office/PUI has been done. 9. As energy conservation measures 30% & 70% Platform lighting circuit has

been redistributed at KDJR, NKW. SGDP, BRAG, DNM, BYY, KIS & MCS stations.
