organizational diagnostics - behind the scenes

OUR HISTORY IN SHORT Innovisor has spent eight years developing its organiza4onal diagnos4cs into simple and easy-‐to-‐explain communica4ons, but in reality is what we are doing really complex. It involves cross-‐disciplinary competencies.
We can brew a cup of coffee and drink it in the 4me it some4mes takes our computers to process our algorithms. For one of our key algorithms we discovered that it would require a computer the size of NASA’s as soon as we worked with companies with more than 500 people. Unfortunately, that computer was already in use, so we teamed up with leading technological universi4es to develop an approach with computers we could get our hands on. That being said, our computers are special and pumped up to an extent you cannot imagine.

ALGORITHMS & APPLICATIONS
Innovisor has spent a lot of 4me developing algorithms that can inform our diagnos4cs and aid our recommenda4ons. Some of them have been developed together with the leading technological universi4es; others by our own in-‐house prac44oners. We have also developed tools and applica4ons that enable us to accelerate the diagnos4cs approach to an extent unmatched.
QUESTION LIBRARY
In the eight years we have been doing our organiza4onal diagnos4cs, we have researched many different intangible ingredients of the shadow organiza4on. Today, we have developed an extensive library of research fields that we combine into our diagnos4cs, so they fit the organiza4onal challenge in front of us. Our experience tells us what works!
BENCHMARKS Innovisor has rigorously collected organiza4onal knowledge from the tremendous array of diagnos4cs work we have performed over our en4re eight-‐year history. Today, we can tell you exactly how much your organiza4on is deficient compared to our benchmarks – by industry, by team type and so forth.

METRICS Our diagnos4cs approach involves the poten4al of 100+ metrics revealing the shadow organiza4on. We know which ones to observe depending on the business challenge you are facing. One example is, how many and which people in an organiza4on should be “run over by a bus” before the organiza4on falls apart?

DATA COLLECTION OPTIMIZATION
As with all other processes Innovisor has, we have also op4mized our data collec4on process. We know exactly when we need to launch our diagnos4cs and what we must communicate to op4mize our data quality. We have a support set-‐up that apart from performing 24-‐hour hyper-‐care, also monitors response rate development that enables it to get back on track if it is more than one standard devia4on away from our standards.
METHOD
Innovisor has a detailed 50-‐page diagnos4cs opera4ng manual with detailed protocols describing exactly what needs to be done by whom and in the proper sequencing when we run our organiza4onal diagnos4cs. Following every single diagnos4c, the diagnos4cs team con4nually performs a lessons learned approach, and updates the manual accordingly. -‐ What we do is no longer a skill; it is an asset.
SPEED
When Innovisor entered the Organiza4onal diagnos4cs field in which we specialize, the typical diagnos4cs period of our compe4tors was four months from start to crea4on of the resultant diagnos4cs report. Innovisor has brought that period down to three weeks, and we are working on geang it down to two weeks or less.
EMPLOYEE DEVELOPMENT
All Innovisor professionals receive hands-‐on training in running our proprietary organiza4onal diagnos4cs. Most of them have been researching and applying the various business applica4ons that are now embedded into Innovisor’s diagnos4cs protocols while they were studying at their respec4ve universi4es. Each year Innovisor’s professionals with the lowest tenure within Innovisor are tasked with performing an extensive organiza4onal diagnos4cs analysis of Innovisor. When they debrief the rest of the Innovisor team, they find that have the toughest audience you can imagine.
